Rex Ryan sends game ball to his father

Marty Schottenheimer got a game ball by Jets coach Rex Ryan after last weekend's playoff upset of the San Diego Chargers, the team that dismissed the father of NewYork's offensive coordinator following a 14-2 regular season.

Brian Schottenheimer said he was touched when he learned of his boss’ gesture Tuesday—and joked that it didn’t even occur to him to do it. Marty Schottenheimer was fired in February 2007 after the Chargers lost their first playoff game despite having the NFL’s best record that season. He had 35 wins and two AFC West titles in his last three seasons in San Diego, where his son was quarterbacks coach from 2002-05.“It felt nice to pick up the phone after the game and talk to my father,” Brian Schottenheimer said Thursday.

Rex Ryan did the thing his father never did as a head coach--the Super Bowl. The Jets play Sunday in the AFC championship against the Colts. I love jets jerseys

Vikings won the game

It is true that Cowboys lost the battle against the Vikings. We all want to know why the season of the Cowboys keep ending like this way. When asked the reason Romo responded in general terms because there were too many specifics to mention. They need to play a little bit better.

While another man may be in his '20th' now. Brett Favre smiled happily in front of his loker and wore a pair of worn Wranglers and a gray T-shirt. The game was done and won and Favre had thrown four more postseason touchdown passes (43 for his career) and the menacing New Orleans Saints awaited in the NFC title game and blah, blah, blah. Let the coaches worry about that. He’d rather screw around with his Mississippi crew that had flown up for the game.

All the guys with vikings jersey are really relaxed now.

Gregg Williams is an energetic defensive coordinator

Gregg Williams worked as the Saints' defensive coordinator was well known for his hoarse voice on the field.

Almost half of the players with saints jerseys called him fell of energy. “He’s crazy, always talking, telling you something, non-stop,” said Hargrove, who isn’t far removed from that himself. “He’s crazy, always talking, telling you something, non-stop,” said defensive lineman Hargrove, who isn’t far removed from that himself. “Yeah, he had to tell me one day to just stop talking because me and him, it just never stopped. He said we couldn’t get nothing done if one of us didn’t shut up.” It's just the way Williams deals with his football. It's his life for six days a week.

Eagles hire Bobby April

Ted Daisher was dismissed and former Bills assistant Bobby April was hired as the special teams coordinator.

Daisher had been in Philadelphia for one season as special teams coach. They also let go strength and conditioning coach Mike Wolf and assistant strength and conditioning coach Jay Merlino. April had been in NFL for 18 years and coached many teams such as Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, St. Louis and Bills. “Bobby April has proven himself as one of the top special teams coaches in this league,” coach Andy Reid said in a statement Thursday. “I have spoken with many coaches and players who have worked with and played under Bobby directly and they have had nothing but the highest regard for him in terms as a coach and as a person.”

Stepping in and going out is also NFL's life. Just hope April do something good to the players with eagles jersey.

Garcon concerns about family in quake-hit Haiti

Pierre Garcon's charming smile was gone instead of worries about Haiti's fatal earthquake and the fate of his relatives who live near the capital city of Port-Au-Prince.

"Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. We still have not heard much from them, and my mom is still trying to call them," Garcon said, according to The Associated Press. "I'm keeping in contact with my mom. It's tough to get in touch with people down there because of the phone lines." This second year player with No.85 colts jersey was born in the USA, but most of his relatives still stay in the Caribbean nation.

Because of the destroy of the quake, keep in touch with hit area is hard. God bless them.

Cowboy's momentum verses Vikings' confidence

Minnesota Vikings got three flaw-exposing losses in their last five games and they lost some others. Their first rival was Dallas.“That’s fine. I don’t think anybody in this locker room is concerned about if we are the underdog or we’re the favorites,” Vikings linebacker Ben Leber said. “We’re concerned about getting a good week of preparation in.” Cowboys finished a 13-year run without a playoff victory by beating up the Eagles on Saturday night. Defensive end Jared Allen kidded that Jerry Jones should give the Vikings some money to build new stadium.

Though the media loves the Dallas Cowboys much, the players with vikings jerseys are upgrading now.
